Workshop on Personal Financial Planning for Semester III MBA Students

A two-day workshop on the add-on course Personal Financial Planning was organised for the second-year MBA students of St. Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) on the 11th and 12th of November, 2024, at the Arthur Shenoi Auditorium. The workshop commenced with an invocation of blessings, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, marking the formal beginning of the event.

The resource persons for the workshop were esteemed experts: Mr. Naveen Rego, Mr. Leo Amal, Mr. Johan Blancyn Pinto, and Mr. Yvonil R. D’Souza. Each speaker brought a wealth of experience and expertise, aiming to equip students with vital knowledge on key aspects of personal financial planning. Throughout the sessions, the speakers emphasised the importance of investing in oneself as a foundation for successful financial planning. The workshop offered the students a deeper understanding of how to manage their personal finances.

Dr. Beena Dias, Head of the MBA Department, played a pivotal role as the faculty coordinator for the event, ensuring its seamless organisation and execution. Her leadership was instrumental in bringing together such a dynamic and enriching learning experience for the students.
