Dr Beena Dias, Head of the MBA Department, addressed the gathering with reflections on Diwali and the importance of embodying its values. The programme involved a theatrical performance representing of history of Diwali. Students welcomed the gathering with a dance performance followed by inter group dance competition. Traditional ramp walk from students added colour and vibrance to the celebration.
As a part of celebrations students were engaged in various competitions, including creative writing, diya decoration, and lantern making, showcasing their artistic talents. Ms. Gowthami coordinated the event as the faculty coordinator, while Ms. Mahalakshmi Bhat and Ms. Laveena Kunder served as student coordinators. The program was compered by Ms. Megan Aranha, with Ms. Marita Barboza welcoming everyone and Ms. Adlin Fernandes delivering the vote of thanks.
