On November 30, AIMIT, St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University) organized a street play to spread awareness about HIV and AIDS on the occasion of World AIDS Day. The play, performed both on the college premises and at Beeri Junction, creatively highlighted how youngsters can inadvertently fall into the trap of HIV.

The story revolved around a young girl who, after facing academic failure, suffers from depression and anxiety. This leads her to drug addiction, and through the use of unsterilized syringes, she contracts HIV. Despite her diagnosis, the girl chooses to turn her life around by helping others cope with HIV and AIDS. The play concluded with a strong message of resilience and support for those affected.

Rev. Fr. Roshan Pereira SJ delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of awareness and urging everyone to take proactive steps to prevent the spread of such diseases.

The event was coordinated by the Department of Placement, with Ms. Mahalakshmi Bhat serving as the student coordinator.
