Prayer Service Organised by Loyola Hostel Boys on the Feast of St. Ignatius Loyola

Loyola Hostel Boys organised a solemn prayer service to commemorate the feast of St. Ignatius Loyola on August 1. The programme commenced with a serene prayer song, setting a reverent tone for the evening. Dignitaries were welcomed with flowers.

In his address, Fr. Roshan Pereira, SJ, delivered an inspiring message drawn from the life of St. Ignatius Loyola, highlighting his virtues and teachings.

Director Dr Fr. Kiran Cotha SJ formally introduced Fr. Roshan Pereira, SJ as the Assistant Director and Fr. Avinash D’Souza SJ as sub-warden of Loyola Hostel. He also expressed gratitude to Fr. Jaison Martis SJ for his exemplary service to the hostel.

Invoking the blessing of the Almighty and leading everyone in prayer, Fr. Jaison Martis, SJ, honoured the spiritual legacy of St. Ignatius Loyola.

Earlier, Rahul Cutinha proposed the vote of thanks, Leon Mendonca extended a warm welcome to everyone present, and Melwin Mathias compered the programme.
