The blessing of AIMIT Savory was conducted by Fr Melwin J. Pinto SJ, Rector, St Aloysius Institutions. In his message Fr Pinto said that when food is good everything goes on smoothly. “I am sure this new facility will help students and staff on the campus to help themselves to take a break from their busy academic life. We believe in giving a variety of eats and this facility will be an addition to many more such developments that are envisaged for this campus,” he said.
Earlier, Ms Anitha Pinto, finance manager, and Sr Trecilla D’Souza, warden of Mother Theresa hostel, inaugurated AIMIT Savory by cutting the ribbon.
Mr Suresh and Mr Jayarama who were architects of the new facility were honoured by Fr Rector. The name for the food court was suggested by Jahnavi SB, II year MSc. Data Science student. She too was honoured on the occasion.
Ms Anitha Pinto proposed the vote of thanks.
