An MS excel refresher course was conducted for the I MBA students on March 24 and 25. The in-house staff members of the department Dr Vasantha G, Vinay Krishna and Clifford D’Costa were the resource persons.
On the first day topics such as basic worksheet operations, introduction to different tabs, basic excel formulas, sort and filter, if function, frequency table and chart basics were covered. Students were briefed about data analysis tool pack and other major functions on the second day.
“The course was very informative and interesting as we were able to learn multiple techniques to use excel in an efficient and effective way. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and gained knowledge that will be helpful in the future” said Zimryn Siraj of I MBA.
“The excel course has taught me to work on excel independently. I am confident that I can manage my business by using these tools” said Lijo Mathew of I MBA.
