The final year students of IT department, AIMIT St Aloysius College (Deemed to be University) conducted an outreach activity at Paschim Rehabilitation Centre and Charitable Trust, Someshwara on June 25.
50 students volunteered to take part in the outreach activity. Mr.Sinivas, from IT department coordinated and accompanied the students.
The students entertained the residents of the Centre with games, dance and songs. Students supported the Centre by donating 50 kg of rice, fruits, soaps and bedsheets.
Swetha R, a student of MCA shared her experience of the activity. “It was a very special experience entertaining the residents of Pashchim old age home. Everyone who took part in the activities made really special memories which will stay with us for a long time. We are very thankful to our college for creating such a great opportunity for us,” she said.
