Inauguration of MSc Data Science 2024-26 Batch Held at AIMIT

The inauguration of the MSc Data Science 2024-26 batch in partnership with MResult Services Private Limited, was held at St Aloysius College (Deemed to be University), AIMIT, Beeri, The programme began by invoking blessings of Almighty. Dr Hemalatha N, Dean of the School of Information Science and Technology, welcomed the gathering.

Mr. Mathi Venkat, Senior Vice President of MResult Services, spoke to the students about the significance of AI and data in today’s world. He urged them to pursue their goals proactively and highlighted the ample industry opportunities for talented individuals.

Ms. Padmashree Alva, Senior Director at MResult Services, engaged in an interactive session with the students, sharing her experiences and emphasizing the importance of both soft and technical skills for career success.

In his presidential address, Rev. Dr. Kiran Cotha SJ, Director of St. Aloysius College, inspired the students to think innovatively, drawing inspiration from the movie A Beautiful Mind. He also acknowledged MResult Services for its role in connecting industry and academia.

The event concluded with an interactive session with students from both the MSc Data Science and MSc Big Data Analytics programs, led by Mr. Lanwin Lobo, Senior Director (Data Science) at MResult Services. Dr. Rakesh Kumar B, Head of the MSc Big Data Analytics & Data Science department, coordinated the event.
