The Director, Dr. Fr. Kiran Coth SJ, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of leadership and gratitude. He then administered the oath to the office bearers of Makarios, who pledged to uphold the values and mission of the management club throughout the academic year. A symbolic moment followed, with the lighting of the lamp by the Director, the Dean, Dr. Rajani Suresh, and student representatives.
The programme was compered by Joel Pinto, a first-year MBA student, who efficiently guided the audience through the event. Colerian Pais welcomed the gathering and Melon Dsouza delivered the vote of thanks.
The Management Innovation Lab (MLab) was also launched, offering a platform for students to tackle real-world business challenges through case discussions. Under the guidance of Faculty Coordinator, Ms. Harinakshi, the MLab will help students innovate and develop next practices in management, preparing them to transform organizations into thriving enterprises. Through Makarios and the Management Lab, AIMIT is paving the way for future leaders to navigate the challenges of tomorrow and create businesses that will thrive in the dynamic world of Industry 5.0.
