On October 26, IT students of St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) inaugurated ‘IGNITE’ on the eve of Deepavali, a festival of lights and a cause for which our students would like to fulfil the dreams of poor children.

Chief Guest of the day Rev Fr Roshan Periera SJ, Asst. Director addressed the students on the essence of the celebration and how our patron Ignatius Loyola ignited us with his thoughts on being a light in others life. Dean of IT, Dr Hemalatha addressed the students and wished all students.

The event also embraced a charitable cause, gathering stationery and old clothes for donation to orphanages and those in need. Adding to the festive spirit, a lively flash mob was performed by our IT students, spreading joy and energy throughout the celebration.

Ms Predita Lasrado, Placement officer organized the event along with the student co-ordinators Ms Vikhitha and Ms Kezia. The hosts for the flashmob Ms Vikhitha and Mr Justin engaged the students with their enthusiastic compere.
