Hr Club Inauguration Report

The MBA Department of the School of Business and Management, AIMIT, inaugurated Aloysius HR Club 2024-25 on February 8. The event commenced with an introduction to the significance of human resources and the club’s vision for the academic year. The speakers emphasized the vital role of HR in shaping the corporate world and highlighted how the club aims to enhance students’ knowledge and skills in this domain.

A warm welcome was extended to the Guest Speaker, Ms. Glancil Monteiro, an esteemed alumnus of the institution, along with the faculty and students. The welcome speech was delivered by Sayanth, HR Club Coordinator. The inauguration was formally conducted by Ms. Glancil Monteiro, Dean of MBA Dr. Rajani Suresh, HOD Dr. Beena Dias, and HR Club Faculty Coordinator Dr. Swapna Rose.

The Inauguration was included the unveiling Of HR Club Kit Box which prepared by Nidhi Shetty, HR Club Coordinator, marking the beginning of the club’s initiatives for the year. The planned activities include:

2. Recruitment Simulation
3. Group Discussion Practice
4. Case Study Challenges

Ms. Glancil Monteiro led an engaging session where she shared insights from her professional journey at BCG, both as an intern and a full-time employee. She emphasized the crucial role of soft skills and technical expertise in securing employment opportunities. Her session provided valuable guidance to students, inspiring them to develop a balanced skill set for career success.
