Feast of St. Mother Theresa: A Prayerful Tribute by the Mother Theresa Hostel Girls

On September 10, 2024, the girls of Mother Theresa Hostel organized a solemn and heartfelt prayer service in honor of St. Mother Theresa,marking the feast day with reverence and devotion. The event, held at 7:00 PM, was graced by the presence of Dr. Rev. Fr. Kiran Cotha SJ, Director of St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Rev. Fr. Roshan Pereira SJ, Assistant Director, and Rev. Fr. Avinash SJ, Sub-Warden. Their presence added a spiritual glow to the evening.

The evening began with a prayerful song and dance, setting a reverent tone for the program. The dignitaries were welcomed with flowers, a gesture symbolizing both hospitality and respect.

Dr. Kiran Cotha SJ delivered an inspiring speech, drawing lessons from the life of St. Mother Theresa and encouraging all to follow her example and learn from her teachings. The spiritual atmosphere was deepened by Fr. Roshan SJ, who led the prayer service and offered blessings to all the students.

The prayer session, which honored St. Mother Theresa, fostered a sense of gratitude and unity among the hostel residents, reflecting a powerful demonstration of faith and community spirit. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Suramya Rai, the leader of Mother Theresa Hostel.
