Ms. Abhiksha Shetty, first year MSc Bioinformatics student, presented a study titled “Exploring the Interaction Landscape of WSSV VP28-Antibody: Computational and Molecular Perspectives” at the India-Netherlands Collaborative Program, Conference on Immune Biology and Precision Medicine: Deciphering Cross-Talks through Multi-Omics. The study was among the four abstracts selected for oral presentation before renowned scientists from India and Radboud University, The Netherlands. The original research was conducted by Dr. Shine P. Varkey on the characterization and potential applications of monoclonal antibodies (Mabs) against White Spot Virus at the Aquatic Animal Health Laboratory, Karnataka Veterinary, Animal, and Fisheries Sciences University, Mangalore, under the mentorship of Prof. Shankar, K, M. Ms. Abhiksha Shetty contributed to the computational analysis, specifically in interaction mapping of antibody on viral protein.
