In his address, Director Dr (Fr) Melwyn Pinto SJ said that Fr Freddy was religious and he was regular to his sacramental duties. “Even though he is moving to the other campus, he will alwaysbe associated with the College,” he said.
On behalf of the non-teaching staff, Accounts Manager Anitha Pinto said, ““FrFreddy was a true mentor and guide and has touched many lives with his wisdom. I also would like to highlight Fr Freddy as someone who expects perfection and attends to every details,” she added.
In his address Rector Fr Melwin Pinto SJ said, “Jesuits keep working with their shoes on.They keep on working without any stop. Although Fr Freddy is retiring from this institution as the Finance Officer after six long years, it means a lot. He has done everything with a lot of patience. I am sure FrKiran will contribute a lot to this institution.”
FrFredrick in his address said, “We were like family in this institution, and I expect all the faculty to help our students to grow intellectually and I pray for all of you that this institution may have further growth.”
FrKiran Coth said that the position of Finance Officer is a non-negotiable role, as one must go along the system and follow rules and regulations. And at the same time we except collaboration, cooperation and we should work as a team.”
Earlier, FrFredrick officially handed over the charge to FrKiran Coth. Ms Jean welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. MrLancy Pinto proposed the vote of thanks. DrDhananjay and Dr Rowena Wright handed over a gift to Fr Fredrick.
