Crafting Excellence: A Workshop on Research Paper Development by Dr. Amitabh Anand

A one-day workshop was organised by the Department of MBA, School of Business and Management, AIMIT as part of the Research Interaction Series on Friday, March 21, 2025. Dr Amitabh Anand, Professor at Excelia France enlightened the researchers on the topic ‘Search to Submission’. The Research Interaction Series was attended by research scholars and faculty members of St Aloysiuas (Deemed to be University).

The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Rowena Wright the Research Coordinator of Management, in the presence of the Head of the Department Dr. Beena Dais and research participants.

Dr. Anand began the session by highlighting 10 important steps to be kept while developing a research paper. Followed by explaining how established researchers and academicians carry out the literature search, extract data through literature mapping and write them into well-developed and executed papers from the abstracts, and keywords.

In case of lack of access to quality Journals, Dr. Anand suggested the use of Dimensions for article search through filtration and zeroing on a research area. Followed by the development of research questions. In the afternoon session, Dr. Anand shared some of the research papers developed by him and how they were executed. With hands-on training for the topics of the research scholars, Dr. Anand created the basic research paper flow within a few minutes of their abstracts. Testing the same for plagiarism and AI detection.

The session ended with a Q&A session followed by a Vote of Thanks by Program Coordinator Mr Vinay Krishna.
