AIMIT bids farewell to final year IT students

With the academic year coming to an end for the IT department, AIMIT organised a farewell function on January 13. IT students will go for their industry internship programme in the fourth semester and will be back only for their project viva later in the semester.

Dr Hemalatha N, Dean (Academics), IT department, in her speech wished the students good luck for their future. Thereafter a few students came forward to share their experience at AIMIT. All of them reminisced the time they spent and the fun they had along with the rigour of the academics.

Director Dr (Fr) Melwyn Pinto SJ in his address motivated the students and wished them good luck for their future endeavors. “It is important to unburden our baggage as we tread along in life. We must enjoy each moment of our life and hence must make our journey itself as the destination,” he said.

The programme was concluded with the candle lighting ceremony. Each student came forward to light a candle as a symbol of carrying on the spark they receive at AIMIT.
