In his message Finance Officer FrKiran Coth spoke about the tradition behind Onam and the story of king Mahabali. “Onam is all about sharing, caring and fellowship. That’s what we celebrate today. It is re-living and revisiting the golden era,” he said.
EarilerDr (Fr) Melwyn Pinto SJ, Director, DrRajani Suresh Dean, MBA, DrHemalatha N,Dean IT, and Dr (Fr) Kiran Coath, Finance Officer, lit the lamp to inaugurate the programme.
The event was enlivened by cultural performances echoing the essence of Onam. Students gracefully danced to the rhythmic beats of traditional drum music. Fun games like musical chairs and lemon and spoon race were conducted and traditional sweet payasam was distributed to all.
