On the third day of the FDP, Dr. Hemalatha N, Dean, School of Information Science and Technology, served as the resource person. She delivered an insightful session on “Enhanced Data Analytics in AI for Agriculture,” emphasizing the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in the agricultural sector.
Her session covered crucial topics such as precision farming, the integration of IoT in agriculture, and smart agricultural practices. She also shared practical insights and real-world use cases from projects she had executed with her students, demonstrating the practical implementation of AI-driven solutions in agriculture.
The FDP witnessed enthusiastic participation, with around 35 faculty members from SIST, St Aloysius Deemed to be University, and over 200 faculty members from various member institutions actively engaging in discussions and sessions.
The successful organization of the event was coordinated by Dr. Santhosh B from St Aloysius Deemed to be University, who played a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of the FDP.
